Honoring Our Veterans! Here at Tom Hiatt’s Plumbing, we recognize and value our veterans very highly. No one deserves more respect and we like to keep that value at the forefront of our business. We would like to thank them for their service and dedication to our country. Our very own Tom Hiatt, served in the US Army from 1983 - 1989. Tom’s father Darrell Hiatt also served in the US Army from 1957-1961. Rhonda Hiatt’s Father Ron Piper serving in Korea from 1966 to 1968 in the Army. Rhonda Hiatt, pictured with her parents, served on the board for Flag City Honor Flight. She had the distinct pleasure of flying on on 5 separate trips. This concluded with her final flight in 2015 in which she was able to escort her father. Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill. https://www.honorflight.org In 2016, Tom and Rhonda both continued to show their support for veterans by participating in the Flag City Honor Flight Organization as “ground guardians”. Tom, Rhonda, and Ron pictured with Mr. Richard Robinette at Lincoln Elementary’s Veterans Day Program. The support continues in and out of the classroom!
